Construction
Single wall construction conforming to ASTM A240, type 304 stainless steel. Welding in accor-dance with AWS D1.1 for watertight tanks that will not warp or deform under load.

Corrosion Protection (carbon steel only)
Sandblasting, then interior lined with Tnemec Series 61 liner to 9 mils MDFT; Exterior coated with polyamide epoxy to 6 mils MDFT.

  • Unique Technology Cross-fluted design/internal intercon-necting channels for enhanced efficiencies in significantly smaller units. Droplets are intercepted by the corrugated plates as the oil/water mixture flows through the separator, new droplets coalesce with retained droplets, making larger droplets. Enlarged droplets are released and rise to the surface to be decanted into a storage tank. Stokes’ Law calculations, based on a flow of zero velocity, result in a Rey-nold’s number less than 500 to ensure optimum separation.
